A study on role of Artificial Intelligence in Education

Abstract

The role of computer science, particularly AI, in education has consistently been significant. This research indicates that AI serves as the foundation for all intelligent tutor systems powered by information science. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, teachers allocate a considerable portion of their time and educational resources to administrative tasks. Applications of Artificial Intelligence (AIA) not only aid in academic and administrative functions but also improve their overall effectiveness. AIA assists educators in a variety of activities through Learning Analytics (LA), Virtual Reality (VR), Grading/Assessments (G/A), and Admissions. It reduces the administrative burdens on teachers, allowing them to focus more on educating and mentoring students. AIA plays a crucial role in improving student learning, lessening a teacher's workload, and facilitating efficient grading and assessment of students. The education sector needs to adopt contemporary teaching methods and the essential technology.
